Chelly Inc. (“Chelly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides construction estimating and project‑management software. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our web application, our mobile applications, and any related services (together, the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Account information — your name, job title, email address, office phone, and mobile phone number, provided by you or by an administrator at your company when your account is created.
Content you create — projects, plans, estimates, daily logs, photos, and other records you enter into the Service.
Usage and device information — log data such as IP address, browser or device type, and timestamps, used to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use your information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To send you operational notifications about your work — including, where you have opted in, text messages (see “Text messaging” below).
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide a mobile number and check the SMS opt‑in box in your profile (on the web or in the mobile app), you agree to receive automated, account‑related text messages from Chelly — for example, a notification that an AI takeoff you uploaded is ready to review, or that a project needs your attention.

Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity in the Service.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
Opt‑out: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or turn the opt‑in off in your profile at any time. Reply HELP for help.
Consent is not a condition of creating an account or using the Service.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. No mobile information — including your mobile phone number and your SMS opt‑in/consent — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text‑messaging opt‑in data and consent are never shared with any third party. We share your mobile number only with the messaging provider that delivers the texts you asked for, and only to send those messages.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service: with service providers who process data on our behalf under contract (for example, our SMS delivery provider and hosting), and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive data at rest and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continually improve our safeguards.

7. Your choices

You can review and update your profile information, including your mobile number and SMS opt‑in, at any time within the Service. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below.

8. Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
